The A-3 Skywarrior filled many roles over it's years in service, but came into it's own in Vietnam. The largest a/c to be assigned to a carrier, it saved many strike pilots lives by flying inland over North Vietnam to meet with attack and fighter a/c that were low on fuel, often refueling them all the way to the carrier or to Da Nang. Unlike the fighters and attack a/c, the A-3 had no ejection seats, and it took a special kind of courage to fly over North Vietnam knowing your hit, you have to bail out the old fashioned way. The A-3 also served as electronic counter-measures and a bomber. The limited edition piece is an EA-3B from VAQ-130, "The Zappers".
This is a 24X36 giclee print, printed on archival white canvas using pigmented inks that will hold their brilliant colors for over a 100 years if kept out of direct sunlight. It is shipped rolled and not stretched in a strong mailing tube. The price is $150.00 which includes shipping.
It can also be ordered as a stretched and gallery wrapped, ready for hanging for $240.oo which includes shipping. Please contact the artist if you wish to order the print stretched and gallery wrapped. Shipping time is two weeks. Thanks for viewing my Mixed Media Photographic Artwork.Best Wishes.
