I created this image to celebrate the first Diamond Formation ever flown by a demonstration team, in this case it is the 1947 team of the Blue Angels.
Now days when you look at any Bearcat Blues pictures on line or in print all you see are distant Black and white pictures making the a/c look old and ancient. Remember that in 1947 the Bearcat was THE front line, newest fighter a/c and people seeing them perform were just as excited as todays air show crowds watching the F-18 and excitement over the team moving to the Super Hornet in 2021. The 1947 team members were just as excited to be getting into the hot little fighter.
This is a 24X36 giclee print, printed on archival white canvas using pigmented inks that will hold their brilliant colors for over a 100 years if kept out of direct sunlight. It is shipped rolled and not stretched in a strong mailing tube. The price is $180.00 which includes shipping. It can also be ordered as a stretched and gallery wrapped, ready for hanging for $240.oo which includes shipping. Please contact the artist if you wish to order the print stretched and gallery wrapped. Shipping time is two weeks.
