It's 1965 and two A-4E Skyawks from VA-86 "The Sidewinders" are going feet dry after a bombing mission on a rail yard in North Vietnam.  Lead was hit in the right wing coming off the target and Winder Two is flying wing and about to check Leads damage which appears extensive as his Skyhawk is venting fuel.  Happy to be "feet wet" over the Gulf Of Tonkin they both take a heading towards a USAF KC-135 where lead will be "dragged" (remaining hooked to the tanker as he losing fuel as fast as it's pumped) to Da Nang (the divert base), where he will get to sleep on land and have drinks with air force pukes at the O'Club.  Later he will return to the boat and tell stories no one will believe.  Winder Two had to fly back to the boat and make a night trap.  The breaks of Naval Air.  This artist representation is based on an actual event.
